History

From the production of standard sanding machines to customized manufacturing

Since founded in 1957, the company has changed its production facilities, also renewing its manufacturing machinery in 2001. Although previously known as LASM (acronym of the founders’ names), it has since appeared on the market under the name VOLPATO, which has become the core operational division of the company, with a change in the company name from Snc to Srl.

In recent years, the company has always explored new markets in geographical and demographical terms, building a distribution network that covers most of the world and satisfying an increasing number of customers from small, medium and large companies, operating in the most diverse industrial and artisan sectors. It is precisely for this reason that the company shifted from the production of woodworking machines to the creation of customized machines for working materials such as plastic compounds, aluminium, steel, precious metals, rubber and many others.
